Leadership

Albert Osei is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Global Ascent Ltd., where he leads strategic execution for specialized EPC, logistics, and infrastructure partnerships across West Africa. With a multidisciplinary background spanning finance, technology, and trade, Albert brings a global perspective to solving Africa’s most complex infrastructure and energy challenges.

His career includes leadership roles across government regulatory tech, SaaS, and telecom, with operational experience in Mexico, Brazil, Canada, and the United States. He has advised on and executed commercial and credit strategies for both public and private institutions, with a focus on emerging markets and infrastructure readiness.

Albert holds a graduate degree from Harvard University, with a concentration in corporate finance, structured transactions, and cross-border risk mitigation. His work is grounded in a deep understanding of the geopolitical and technical forces shaping trade, logistics, and energy development across the African continent.

Dr. Egremont holds an MBA in Strategic Procurement and Project Management from the Paris Graduate School of Management and a PhD in Economics from the University of Hawaii, and joined Global Ascent in May 2022.

Kwame Osei Owusu

Head of Field Operations

Kwame has worked in the downstream petroleum industry across several companies including Star Oil and Ghana Oil, and joined Global Ascent in 2023 to lead our field operations team. Frank holds a BSc. Administration from the University of Ghana, Legon.

Director, Project Management

Sebastian is a licensed engineer with 13+ years of experience mainly in Infrastructure Projects. He is certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional, PMP, PMI-ACP. Sebastian joined Global Ascent in 2024.

Gyifa Lomotey

Director, Human Resources

Gyifa leads our human resources team ensuring adequate project staffing, performance management, and enhanced workplace experience. Gyifa holds a BSc. in Human Resource Management from Coventry University.

Charles Boakye

Director, Fleet Management

Charles is the head of our fleet management team responsible for GPS tracking systems, and fleet management software. He graduated with a BSc. in Computer Science from the Kwame Nkrumah university of Science and Technology.

Dale Gyasi

Paul is a Chartered Certified Accountant in the United Kingdom and Ghana and has over 20 years of experience in financial management across the minerals and petroleum industry. Paul holds a BSc. and MSc. both from Greenwich university
